2. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Data is processed statutory provisions to fulfil the contract governing medical treatment between you and your physician and the associated obligations.
For this purpose we process your personal data, particularly your health data. This includes medical history, diagnoses, recommended treatments and findings collected by us or other physicians. Other physicians or psychotherapists treating you may also provide us with data for this purpose (e.g. physician’s letters).
Collecting health information is required to treat you. Proper care cannot be provided without the necessary information.
3. WHO YOUR DATA IS SHARED WITH
We only share your personal data with third parties where permitted by law or with your consent.
Your personal data may particularly be shared with other physicians / psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurance companies, the health insurance medical service, medical associations and private medical billing companies.
It is primarily shared for the purpose of billing services provided to you, to clarify medical matters and matters related to your insurance contract. In some cases data is shared with other authorised recipients.
4. STORING YOUR DATA
We only store your personal data as long as necessary to provide treatment.
We are obligated by law to keep this data for at least 10 years after completing treatment. Other regulations may require longer retention periods, for example 30 years for x-ray images pursuant to section 28(3) X-Ray Regulations.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to receive your personal data. You can also request the correction of incorrect data.
Under certain circumstances you further have the right to have data erased, the right to restrict data processing, and the right to data portability.
Your data is processed in compliance with statutory rules. Your consent is only required in exceptional cases. In these cases you have the right to withdraw your consent to future processing.
You further have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for data protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful.

Privacy-Enhanced YouTube

We use YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. According to YouTube, in this mode YouTube does not save information about users of this website before playing the video.
